Providing A Birthday Party In A Bag

Thanks to the Cochise Ward Young Women group from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the Pantry is able to offer birthday joy.  If your child is having a birthday and you need a cake, the girls' summer camp this year, made birthday kits for the Food Pantry.  Inside each kit is a cake mix, cake pan, frosting, a can of sprinkles, a can of sprite (for mixing into the cake mix), balloons, a candle, and a birthday card with instructions on how to make the cake.  "Everyone deserves to feel loved and celebrated on their special day and we hope these kits will help with that."
